Help with the app, your subscription, and your family’s data.

Contact us

The fastest way to reach a person is email. We’re a small team and usually reply within 1–2 business days.

To help us sort it out quickly, tell us your device (for example, iPhone 15), your iOS version, and what you were trying to do when the problem happened.

Quick answers

Is ChoreCred really private?

Yes. There are no accounts and no logins, no analytics or ad SDKs, and no ads. Your family’s data lives on your devices, and the optional iCloud sync keeps it in your family’s own iCloud — never on servers we run. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

What does it cost?

ChoreCred is free to download, and every new family starts with a 14-day free trial of everything. After the trial, the free tier keeps working — one kid and up to five active chores. ChoreCred Plus unlocks unlimited kids and chores: one flat household subscription, $6.99 per month or $59.99 per year, no per-child fees.

Is it available yet?

ChoreCred is coming soon on iPhone. Join the waitlist on the home page for launch and TestFlight updates. The waitlist is only for those messages and is separate from the app.

Manage your ChoreCred Plus subscription

Your subscription is billed by Apple through your Apple Account, so you manage it in iOS settings — not inside ChoreCred.

View, change, or cancel

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap ChoreCred, then choose a different plan or Cancel Subscription.

You can also manage it from the App Store: tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Free trial

Every new family’s 14-day trial of the full app happens automatically and involves no purchase — when it ends, nothing is charged and the free tier keeps working. Separately, if you start a ChoreCred Plus subscription with Apple’s free introductory offer, cancel at least 24 hours before that introductory period ends to avoid being charged; canceling during it stops it from converting to a paid subscription.

Deleting the app is not the same as canceling

Removing ChoreCred from your phone does not cancel your subscription. Cancel through Apple using the steps above.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Settings → your name → Media & PurchasesPurchase History.

Your data — sync, export, and deletion

Because we never receive your family’s data, you stay in control of it on your own devices and in your own iCloud.

Turning iCloud sync on

Sync is off until a parent turns it on inside ChoreCred — the Partner Sharing card in the Family tab. In the current version, sync stays on for the household once enabled; there is no in-app switch to turn it back off. Either way, your data lives only on your devices and in your family’s own iCloud.

Delete your ChoreCred data

If you joined the website waitlist and want your email removed, just email us from that address and we’ll delete it, no questions asked.
